Overall average value for the money, satisfied with performance. Versatile machine that goes beyond what an ordinary bench top drill press can do. The rotating head allows for unusual drilling angles as well as grinding, buffing, and other shaping work. Speed range is good with an easy to adjust belt/pulley system. The cost is higher than other drill presses and shipping is expensive. The box arrived damaged with the interior styrofoam packaging completely shattered. Large parts were loose in the box. Assembly is straightforward with simple tools. Instructions are less than complete but adequate for someone who understands basic assembly. Adjustments and controls are as expected and relatively easy to operate. The base table adjustment is not explained in the instructions so you need to experiment to get it to tilt sideways. Motor is a single speed and not subject to electronic speed adjustment so 500 rpm is the slowest rotation speed available with belt/pulley system. Bolts to secure drill press to workbench are supplied and recommended as machine is asymmetrical and massive (90 lbs). Very satisfied with precision and performance in a variety of operations.

being the work station doesn't extend the full reach of the drill press. we tried to order the part that would, but there was know option available.
