Ideal for oil, coal, or heavy wood burner chimneys, the Shelter 13 x 13 in. Single Flue Chimney Cap is constructed of 100% 304 stainless steel and built to withstand the toughest of conditions. This chimney cap's durability is rugged enough to tackle any application within 25 miles of a saltwater coast. Its high-quality construction includes a 24-gauge stainless steel hood with scalloped corners and straight cut edges, an 18-gauge 3/4 in. expanded stainless steel mesh, and a 16-gauge stainless steel base integrated for added strength. The outside mounting design engineers a maximum free air space allowing uninhibited chimney draft.

    Nice stainless steel. Installation was simple

    Very nice thick stainless steel gauge. Little bit of modifying to secure bottom turned netting so it sits flush on the liner. The netting wasnt attached to the top perfectly center and was off center one side about an inch. I would advice once you get it mounted where you like, take it back off and pre drill the screw locations about 3/16" deep to secure the screws into the clay liner so that with over time it will not loosen up as easily and fly away with a gust of wind.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
