Q&As

1 - 5 of 5 Questions

Q: Can I use on my wood smoker (is it food safe)

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! Rutland EZ Spread Gasket Cement is not rated as food-safe and should not be used on your outdoor wood smoker. Because it is designed strictly for dry indoor wood stoves, the high moisture and steam inside a smoker will cause the cement to break down, crumble, and flake into your cooking chamber.
