Nice bird feeder, however it was not assembled correctly. I bought it today and filled it half way up, and hung it. About a minute later it dropped on to my paved back porch, dumping most of the seed. On checking the feeder, I found that the cable crimped loop had just come apart. Dropping the bird feeder. Ended up putting a new crimpable sleeve on the cable. Didn’t find any real damage to the feeder, since it appears to be galvanized metal. At least it’s tough, durable. Note to self: still need to check other people’s work

We love that this feeder holds so much seed, which means we don't have to fill it as often. It feels to be well made, but we drilled a few more holes in the bottom so that water can drain out more easily. Some of the edges of the feeder are sharp. Also, we think the birds have a hard time getting into the feeder holes to get more seed, so we usually go out and pick the seed out of the holes so it flows more easily. Sometimes, larger seeds and fruit pieces block the holes.

This was supposed to be deliver within 24 along with the bird seed. However TSC chose to ship the items on the same order separately so the window of importance was missed which is the reason I canceled the order and requested return to TSC the following day. Same day delivery was not honored I was not treated with respect at the Caldwell TX store #1181 Ordered June 18, 2025 same day delivery FedEx attempted delivery June 20 but rejected returned to TSC by FedEx on July 2, 2025 Refund has not been processed.

The wire used to hang these was not properly crimped therefore causing a failure when barely 1/2 way full of bird seed. I replaced the wire and ferrules on both units I ordered. Crimped them myself therefore they now function properly.
