Q: I'm very much interested in the Royal Wing Large Combo feeder, but I need to mount it on a post. I live in Estes Park and our Winter winds are too strong for a hanging feeder. Is there a way to do a 4x4 post mount?

- A: Unfortunately, we do not have a post mount on the feeder. The only option they could try is to put some lag screws through the bottom of the feeder into the post using a ratchet and predrilling some holes thru the base of the feeder, but it makes it very difficult to clear the feeder3 years agoHelpful?

Love this feeder so far foe the variety of feed
We can offer in 1 feeder and the subsequent birds it attracts! I put dried worms in the top trey )mine holds in place securely), different flavors of suet in each holder and backyard mix in the hopper. Surprisingly haven’t had any squirrels (yet) but will preemptively use aquarium silicone to secure the ports in place after reading reviews. Also per reviews, sounds like I also need to add a small blockage to keep small birds from getting in

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this feeder. The first time I filled it, one of the feeder ports fell out. I put it back in, but it's an ongoing issue with putting them back in. One of them no longer functional because the flimsy metal tabs holding it in have broken off. The final straw was when the lid came off and it fell to the ground. I have only had this feeder for 2 months and it's been nothing but problems since day 1. I have purchased many bird feeding supplies from Tractor Supply over the years and never been disappointed until now. Don't buy this feeder.

Birds Get Trapped Inside

*Check feeder often for possible birds trapped inside.•
Small birds are able to get inside through the feeder holes. Once inside, they are unable to get out without top being removed. Relieved when able to rescue them, but really sad to have found a few too late. A redesign is needed with the dispenser holes for sure.
Durable large capacity feeder would be great if not a death trap to small birds.
No, I do not recommend this product.
