I have been looking at buying a biothane collar for a while, and it was very exciting to see that my local TSC carried them! One of the main selling points for me was the fact that it is easy to clean, and odor proof, which is definitely true. One thing I will say, is that the green is so much more vibrant than it appears on a screen. To me, that isn't a drawback but to some it may be. I absolutely love the texture, I've personally never been a huge fan of the texture of regular nylon collars. The biothane texture is very smooth and nice, and I'll have to keep my eyes open for a biothane leash for sure!
