Redmond Rock on a Rope

These are the best trace mineral salt licks we have found and the horses love them. Having them drilled and on a rope keeps them out of the sand so they don't end up with sand stuck all over them when they are wet.

My horse loves these. I keep one in his feed bin at all times. I like it because it’s natural and the size is good. Large enough that the weight keeps it in place but not too big that it takes up too much space.

Used 7lb salt block outdoors 24/7 with poor result

I bought the 7lb block to keep outside in my horse's paddock 24/7. Instructions say "feed free-choice year round". The surface is crumbly and rough, not smooth, with chunks sticking out, spilling onto the holder (see photo). My horse is not interested in putting her tongue on that! Company claims "will not dissolve".

No, I do not recommend this product.
