The Equine Choice Turnout Horse Supplements are a horse vitamin supplement formulated to correct and balance the nutritional deficiencies of pasture and hay. The energy dense, weather-resistant blend of molasses solids in these equine supplements provide 5% fat, 12% protein and complete vitamin nutrition. When using these Equine Choice horse supplements, be sure to provide clean, fresh water at all times, as well as free-choice salt and/or mineral. There's a metal handle to help prevent the container from tipping. Available in a 33.3 lb. bag.
- Place the horse vitamin supplement in a dry location near the animal's source of water, salt, mineral or loafing area
- Metal handle on the Equine Choice horse supplements should be anchored to prevent tipping and rolling
- Consumption of equine supplements will vary depending on animal's size, quality, source and availability of roughage and/or grains, number of animals and location
- Provide clean, fresh water at all times, plus free-choice salt and/or mineral

Q: My two horses just LOVE this supplement. They will finish a bucket within a week if I leave it free choice. Is it safe to feed "free choice" if the horses eat that much in such a short time?

- A: The feed tags read that horses should get 0.5-1.5 lbs/head/day of this product. Normally if the horses are out on pasture or in a pen then it’s fine to leave the tub out for them to consume free choice. This will put weight on your horse fast

I have a 28 year old 17.2 TB and for 4 years, money no object, tried to put some weight on him. At last I can't believe it was that easy. This bucket of fabulous was slipped under the fence and he hammer it. I have 2 other older horses with him as well and all love it. All three within 3 weeks look GREAT!. I love my horses and feel like they deserve a good retirement after the years of pleasure they have given me. This product has been a blessing. It was painful to see my older horses deteriorate before my eyes. So.... with that said, you can't go wrong with this product. It works well enough for me to take the time and write this. I wish I had found it years ago.

Avoid if your horse is an easy keeper

Watch out if your horse is insulin resistant. First ingredient is molasses and there is no % category for sugar content.
