Home Fresh Goad Herd 18 is a textured complete grain ration for growing, gestating and lactating goats. Provide good quality forage and fresh clean water daily. Dry, Pregnant Doe: Feed 0.25 - 0.50 lb grain/day, increasing during last month of gestation up to 1.25 to 1.5 poinds by kidding along with forage. Lactating Doe: Feed according to milk production along with high quality forage. Feed approximately 1.0 lb per 2.5 lb milk production/day. Growing Dairy Kid: 0.5% - 1.5% of body weight daily with forage.
- The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables of management, environment, and breed may dictate changes in the animal's dietary requirements.
- Do not feed this product if believed to be unfit for animal consumption.
- Store in a cool, dry place.

We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent/Blue Seal product or even between Kent/ Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Kent/Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one week to 100% of the new Kent/Blue Seal product.
