Rabbit pellets are complete nutritionally and additional feeding of hay and grain is not necessary. The feeding recommendations are for rabbits of New Zealand size. For other breeds, adjust for size.
GESTATION: First 2 weeks feed once a day 3 to 4 oz. of rabbit pellets per doe. Gradually increase feed to 6 oz. during last 2 weeks before kindling. Normal gestation is 31 days.LACTATION: First 2 days feed 3 oz. of rabbit pellets per day. Gradually increase feed by adding 1 oz. per day until feed level is sufficient for satisfactory maintenance.DOE AT WEANING: Reduce the rabbit pellets to 3 to 4 oz., enough to keep in good condition.BUCK: Feed once a day 3 to 4 oz. or enough to keep in good condition. Do not overfeed.YOUNG RABBITS AND BREEDING STOCK: Self feed until proper weight and condition is obtained.Provide plenty of clean, fresh water at all times.
