I have used this model for years - is is the best that I have found, but the first thing I do when I get is out of the box is add a center leg to the front and rear crossbar. I use pieces I have cut from previously used grates. I burn 10 - 12 cords a year and this grate is good for 7-10 cords and then it will need replacing. I am in fact searching for my second one this season as I started the year with a brand new one and yesterday the center bar turned into two pieces.

This is a very heavy duty grate that sits flat and doesn't rock. Shipping to a nearby store took 2 days. This grate should last for years.
