The PetSafe dog doors are well made and last a long time. Ours has lasted over 10 years! I just replaced the flap today to freshen it up. The replacement flap is the same high quality. Our dogs are large and use the extra large door. But even our cats can push it open. It keeps the cold air out in the winter while letting animals in and out.

With a ton of use from 3 large German Shepherds my doggie dog gets put to the test. I find myself changing them bi-yearly. The replacement is easy to change out & only takes a few minutes…
