Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for active dogs with anxiety issues I bought this item a week ago in anticipation of a trip we were planning on going to. I have a 10 year old american bulldog mix...approximately 60 pounds who has separation anxiety...we knew for the trip he would have to be sedated but we wanted him to get used to at least settling into the crate like we had to do for his metal crate. After settling him into the carrier, we left the house for approximately 20 minutes, maybe less and when we arrived back at the house after our walk, he greeted us at the door. When we looked at the crate he had chewed his way out of the crate after creating a hole from the corner to the middle of the lower part of the crate. 20 minutes and the crate was destroyed. All I could imagine was thank goodness we were not in flight and he was in the plane cargo hold.
