Item Information

PetAg EMT Gel is a revolutionary breakthrough in wound care for animals. EMT Gel provides nutritive collagen protein to the wound site to enhance the natural healing process. EMT Gel reduces bleeding by forming a plug to encourage natural clotting. EMT Gel forms a semi-occlusive barrier that protects the wound and provides a moist environment which encourages healing. EMT Gel is all-natural, non-toxic, and has no known side effects.

For topical application on all animals in the management of chronic and acute wounds such as:
    • Superficial wounds (cuts and abrasions)
    • Burns
    • Traumatic wounds (flesh tears)
    • Dermal ulcers/"hot spots"
    • Injured foot pads
    • Surgical wounds
    • Other general dermatologic conditions

Ingredients:
Type 1 hydrolized collagen, purified water, U.S.P., Collascent

Directions For Use:
Cleanse wound thoroughly with water or saline. Apply EMT Gel directly to the wound and onto the surrounding area. Allow to air dry; cover large wounds with a non-stick dressing (Telfa). Secure the non-stick dressing if needed. Reapply EMT el and redress daily (as needed). If dressing sticks to wound, soak it in warm water to ease removal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Product This is THE BEST product for healing split pads in a dog. Recommended to me by a veterinarian, I keep it on hand for my dog with tender pads. I also use it on myself when I get a cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly!! My mare had a very long slice across her hip. No way to bandage or keep it clean all day. Found this at Tractor Supply and gave it a try. First put my usual mix of meds on the wound then glued it with a good amount all over, hairy edges stuck together, let it dry and it stayed on for at least a week as the wound healed perfectly underneath. I wish the tubes were bigger. This is a wonderful, and necessary, product in your supplies. You'll wonder why you didn't look for it long ago!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will never be w/out it!! My boxer had about a 1" cut on the underside of his ribs a while back. By the time I got home & saw it, the vet said it was too late for stitches & that we could try skin glue & wound spray. Did a lot of reading & found emt had the highest reviews. Boxers dont sit still long enough for glue to set. This emt gel healed it up in no time & kept it from getting infected. Now my pit has hyperkeratosis on his back pad. Nothing they can really do for that. I had bought a bunch of expensive stuff b/c he was a bit uncomfortable & we were out of town. The best thing I had been using was coconut oil. Got home, remembered the emt and his pad is almost completely healed. He gets agitated w/me putting it on but, once he discovered he loves the taste, he knows his reward is cleaning it off of my fingers so, he let's me do it as much as I need and it allows time for it to dry while hes cleaning it off of my fingers. Dont worry, it's all natural lol. I will never go out of town w/out it again!!!
