- A: No, it is not a concentrate. Use as directed: Pre-operative skin preparation: • after the surgical area is clipped, wet it with water • apply Scrub (1 cc is sufficient to cover an area of 20-30 square inches), develop lather and scrub thoroughly for about 5 minutes • rinse off using sterile gauze saturated with water • the area may then be painted with BETADINE Solution Veterinary and allowed to dry • for use on companion animals, including dogs, cats, and horses7 years agoHelpful?

Great all around product I keep on hand

Great product, I have used this for so many different issues. Rain rot on horses, skin issues on dogs even bathing dogs with it that have sarcoptic or demodex mange to stop any secondary bacterial infections while they're being treated. Its my first go to with new rescue with any skin issue. I have never had any issues with it and have been using at least 20 years on many. I do rescue so im always looking for inexpensive multi use products. Ive never had any reaction from it myself or any animal Ive used it on.

The item # for this scrub and the solution are the same in Tractor Supply inventory. I ordered the scrub online and when I hurried all the way to pick it up in the store, they handed me the solution. They are 2 completely different products! Why do they have the same item # in Tractor Supply? They did not have the product I ordered and paid for. Such an inconvenience to me. I really needed this surgical scrub for an emergency health situation for my horse. This is a great product and I counted on Tractor Supply to fulfill my order. This caused me so much stress because I had to go searching around for it when I should have been giving my horse the first aid he needed. Horrible inventory management here.
