The Perfect Plants Popcorn Drift Rose is one of the premier rose plants for sale! With their beautifully shaped cream colored blooms, along with their tolerance to grow in a majority of the continental U.S, there's no better rose plant for your garden, so get yours today!Does not ship to AK, AZ, CA or HI

  • The popcorn rose color starts as a soft yellow and fades to cream white blooms. The overall impression is yellow and cream reminiscent of buttery popcorn hence its name. Contrasting dark green foliage lies under the yellow flowers.
  • Drift Roses are a cross full-size ground cover roses and miniature roses. They gained durability, disease resistance, and winter hardiness from the full size ground cover roses. The drift series rose bushes gained a healthy size and repeat-blooming nature from the miniatures.
  • No special attention is required for Drift Rose Bushes besides well draining soil. For best presentation, prune drift roses annually in early spring after the last peril of frost has passed. The addition of mulch or organic matter will help with moisture retention. Dont have the right soil conditions for roses? Buy our Rose Planting Mix to amend your native soil or container.
  • They enhance edgings, fill empty spaces, and spread elegantly around established plants, small gardens, or rock walls. Yellow drift roses are low maintenance and will reward you with endless color all season long.
  • Drift roses are pest and disease resistant even to diseases like powdery mildew and black spot. An annual application of slow release fertilizer at the top of the root ball in the beginning of the growing season should help with any problems that may arise.
  • USDA Hardiness Zones 5-10
  • Grows best across the United States in USDA plant hardiness zones 5-10. The yellow drift rose can get up to 1.5 feet tall and 2.5 feet wide at full maturity. If you wish, you may prune this rose bush into a popcorn rose tree.

Popcorn Roses

It took a while to receive the plant and it looked a little "Ratty" upon arrival. However, now it is planted in the ground and it looks like it should recover nicely.
