The National Plant Network 2.5 qt. Nikko Blue Hydrangea Plant is a deciduous, large-leafed hydrangea plant with a rounded growth habit. Its large, mophead blossoms stand out in the landscape and make stunning cut flower arrangements. Blooming in mid to late summer, this colorful hydrangea is equally at home in the garden or a large container. Hydrangeas are best grown in USDA hardiness zones 6-9. Online order is disappointing.

My order was for a pair of blue hydrangea plants. When I picked them up, I requested that the boxes be opened so I could verify that they had traveled well. One box had obviously spent a good deal of time upsidedown, plant was severely broken. These were intended as a gift. :-( The store arranged for a replacement to be shipped. Upon arrival of the replacement, I again had store staff open the box so we could check it. It came with 2 plants crammed into the box designed for one. There was obvious heat damage (per the county agricultural extension office) and the later plants may have something chewing up the leaves.
