Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trophy Rock is great ! If you want to get tons trail cam photos of deer the trophy rock will help you get them. Pulls the does and bucks in. Great when added to a mineral lick also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horses and dragons I bought this to be shared between the horses and the bearded dragons. It has a higher calcium content than the manufactured mineral blocks, which made it a better choice for the dragons. I just knocked a chunk off with the hammer for them. And the horses seem to like it better than plain salt blocks or the manufactured mineral blocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trophy Rock is the only way to go. I have tried many types of mineral licks with very little success over several years until I tried the trophy Rock. I run trail cameras which I set on video and I have solid proof that the deer love them. I will not try anything else.

On average, how long will a rock last with 7-12 deer licking it daily?

Asked by: AdeleZ
The manufacturer does not have any data for this situation so we are not able to advise on how long it would last.

would like to have one of these to attract deer so I can photograph them. Do they melt or dissolve in rain or direct sun?

Asked by: BarbG

My wife would like to put something in the yard to attract deer at our home so she can watch them.  My question:   Will it kill the vegetation (grass) in the area where I place it?  (Salt licks leave large dead spots on the grass.)

Asked by: BarryinSeneca
Yes, lack of sunlight, will kill the vegetation.
