This wireless alarm receiver base station will announce the arrival of a vehicle by a chime and LED light. The low battery indicator light of this Mighty Mule wireless alarm base station notifies you when the 2AA batteries (not included) need replacing in the outdoor receivers. Fast and easy to install, just plug the batteries into the wireless alarm base station add-on and set the codes to match your original receiver. No luck with mine

I'm on my 2nd one.the first one worked most of the time then it began to go off for no reason. I replaced the batteries (1.59v) and no change. The 2nd one works about 1/3 the time. If a car is going too fast (7mph or more)it won't pick it up. It's supposed to have a 12ft radius but it's more like 7ft even with the sensitivity turned all the way up.

I purchased my original Mighty Mule Driveway alarm several years ago. It has been reliable and valued since its purchase. My base station is in a room that I cannot hear the alarm when I am in my bedroom, so I purchased this one as an add-on to have in my bedroom. It is a relief to know I will hear any incoming vehicles at night.
