Q: I turn it on and the orange button on the side that regulates the gas won't stay in so the heater keeps turning off what is the problem

- A: If the button will not stay pressed in and the heater turns off, this would be due to the tip-over switch being activated. The tip-over switch is a safety mechanism that will shut off the unit if it ever is tipped over by accident. Sometimes this safety mechanism can be activated during shipping and handling. This part is replaceable. If the heater is still under warranty, then the cost of the part will be covered.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: This heater will light, but will not stay on. Plenty of propane and fires properly. When I release the starter button after 30 or more seconds, the burner goes out. Why?
