Easy install, fit perfectly on mossberg 590. Darker than picture on Website (pleasant surprise). Feels sturdy

The installation videos and commentaries you see on places like YoTube are not inaccurate but may not reflect your actual experience. I was installing the forend on a Maverick 88 and found the action slide assembly was the plastic grip portion molded over the action bars. I watched a few videos which suggested the fit was very snug but I noticed a subtle difference in the stylings of the grip, so I presume there was a slight engineering change. Not big deal, I ordered an OEM Mossberg action slide and will install the forend on it and then put it onto the shotgun. I have run these on other shotguns and, like the SGA stock, it really changes the dynamics if you know what your doing. If you are not a shotgun fan, you really will not know the difference but you will look cooler than someone else.
