Prepare the Work Area Attach the work clamp securely to clean, bare metal. Make sure your material is clean and free of rust, paint, or oil. 4. Set Controls Adjust the voltage and wire feed speed based on the material thickness (refer to the chart inside the unit for guidance). 5. Safety First Wear proper PPE 6. Start Welding Position the gun at the correct angle (about 10–15°) and pull the trigger to begin your weld.
