Purchased 10 silkie chicks . Received tracking information 4-5 days after placing order . Received chick from post office 3 days after getting tracking information. When I picked them up from the post office I thought to my self that this was a super small box for 10chicks so I immediately took them to my car and opened the box to check on them . Filming the whole process. When I opened the box 5 of the 10 chicks were already dead (3 white ones and 2 black ones) . The other 5 chicks were still alive (4 white ones and 1 black one) but those 5 were super weak and barely moving. I rushed them home (only 5 min from the post office) and got them in the brooder with food and water . With in 1 hour the last black one and one white one died . Then we lost the rest one at a time About an hour apart from each other . They were not given any warmer like some hatchery’s give there chicks when shipping . On top of no heat device they were stuffed into Tiny box that had no room for them To move around just had no choice but to smother each other . I get that Your expected to loose some when ordering chicks Online through the mail . But to loose All 10 due to lack of care from shipper is just wrong and needs to be addressed!! I’ve ordered 100s of chicks online And i have Never had all of them die and have never seen chicks given 0 care or thought when packaging them .

Do not recommend this product!!! Do some quick math, they are charging almost double what these breeds should cost. Not sure why there is a price discrepancy

The mix of a slow moving, lazy, fast growing meat bird with a rambunctious feathery and agile chicken has honestly turned out to be a pain. The Cornish cross are harassed even at 3 weeks old, to the point I will have to separate them. As a backyard meat bird person, this is a pain. I wish I had called and ordered only Cornish cross
