My machine broke within about 10 uses

My machine broke within about 10 uses due to a faulty compressor and the company customer service has been abysmal as I've tried to carry out the replacement. I've spent over a month trying to get the replacement part. The company has shown virtually zero initiative in helping me do so. I have chased them every few days for weeks about the status of the replacement part, which has still not been shipped out. Additionally, it appears that I'll end up needing to pay hundreds of dollars in shipping and fees in order to get this replacement part (whenever/if ever it comes) because they have not been flexible in covering those fees either, even after they admitted that the faulty compressor seemed to have nothing to do with my use of the machine and shared that it is a common problem for these machines. I will be using a different company for future purchases. The customer service folks (on the sales and tech teams) I've worked with have been nice, but that's about the only positive feedback I can offer to Harvest Right at this point.

We invested in a Harvest Right freeze dryer in November 2025, and it's been a wonderful experience. As a homeschooling family, we cherish the opportunity to learn together. We've been successful in freeze-drying fresh veggies and fruits and have enjoyed making pickles and candies for a fundraising event at our church.

The Best Freeze Dryer

I have always known Harvest Right was the best freeze dryer and after buying one, I realize why. They have a solid machine that works well. The people who give tech support are mostly very helpful and friendly. I have only had one that was rude but everyone else resolved any issues I was having kindly. The app is the best! I have had questions answered numerous times on the chat feature. I love this thing!
