Terrible Product and Even Worse Customer Service –

I spent nearly a year researching freeze dryers before purchasing a Harvest Right. Unfortunately, I only saw positive reviews online, which led to a decision I deeply regret.Problems began almost immediately:Defective Door Seal: From day one, the door supports had so much play that the vacuum would fail. To get a seal, I have to forcefully hold it shut and wedge a physical shim into the door supports.Premature Pump Failure: Within months of buying it, the vacuum pump died completely. Customer service dragged their feet, treating us with condescension and skepticism. Despite sending multiple videos and photos, they ignored my husband's insistence that the pump was dead and only sent a replacement cover and oil. It took filing a Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint to finally get them to ship a new pump—a process that took over a month and crippled our business right before our biggest sales event of the year.Screen Failure: A few months later, the entire touchscreen failed during another major sales event. While the techs were slightly faster this time, it still took several weeks to get the replacement part.I read the manual cover-to-cover and followed every assembly, operation, and maintenance step perfectly. Despite this, this machine has cost our business thousands of dollars in lost revenue. I cannot recommend Harvest Right to anyone. Our next machine will be a Cube or an Alpine.

The amount of food you waste is phenomenal. With a freeze dryer you can fill a tray and put it in your freezer and when you have all of your trays filled you can then move them to your freezer dryer to process.
I started off with a small vacuum issue but customer service was over the top awesome!
