Fun while it lasted in it's short 72 hour life

My excitement quickly turned into regret when I realized I’d spent $4,000 on a useless hunk of metal. After four infuriating months battling Harvest Right, I’m no closer to getting a replacement for my freeze dryer, which failed catastrophically on the fifth batch. Their customer service is all smiles until they realize they can’t fix it with a script, then the games begin: endless delays, hollow apologies, and a parade of excuses. Any attempt to reach a manager is just another excuse to nowhere. The machine didn’t even make it 72 hours before failing, and it’s spent more time as a monument to corporate indifference than it has spent actually working. It seems that Harvest Right doesn’t stand behind its products or its customers. If you’re thinking about buying this brand, look elsewhere—this company is an embarrassment.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great Quality Machine

The machine is easy to set up and use. It holds a large amount of product per tray. Our food comes out completely dry and ready for the Mylar bags with O2 packets put in them. We put our left over meals in trays and it’s great we have no food waste anymore. We make home made nutritious meals to take in our RV for camping. Rehydrating is easy and the food comes back to the way it went in the machine. Harvest Right Customer Service are very helpful with great attitudes. We love Patrick.

Happy Freeze Drying

I recently bought the Harvest Right Large Freeze Dryer and have just run my first batch of ice cream through it. I’m very happy with the result. The machine was straightforward to use for a first run, and the final product came out light, crisp, and full of flavour. It was exciting to see how well the ice cream held its taste and texture after freeze drying. So far, I’m impressed with the build quality and performance, and it has given me confidence to start experimenting with more products. A great first experience overall.
