I purchased this for areas of my backyard that I needed to either seed or reseed. Prepped the area, threw the seed, added tacky straw, watered daily in evening and in 3 DAYS I had new grass starting. The gentleman that does my law could not believe what he was seeing a week later, will be ready to mow in another week. Definitely recommend!

Purchased this seed in sept 2021 planted it after putting down lawn and top soil. i watered it every day for about 2 weeks . it is now may 2022 and the lawn is still dark green and full as ever. Stayed dark green even over the winter. The key is have a good soil base and water as directed . Great seed . A lush lawn all year long are the results I've had.

Poor grass seed

I bought this last month and followed all of the directions on the lawn and watered as stated. This did not grow well at all. This was spotty and looked like old seed even though it expired in 9/20. Not worth the money.

As a landscaper I have reseeded and planted quite a few lawns. I was amazed how fast Groundworks grass took to germinate, 7 DAYS! Blew me away! What I enjoy about planting grass seed is seeing it turn into a beautiful lawn. Planting or Re-seeding a new lawn takes 5 steps: 1.Remove the weeds in the existing lawn, unless you are starting fresh ground. 2. Use good clean soil with sand for drainage, (helps root growth) 3. For me now on I will use GROUNDWORKS rapid grow grass, (purchase the correct seed for conditions, Full sun, Sun and Shade, Full shade etc..) 4, Very important good Fertilizer for New Lawns. 5. Watering keep the ground damp, No Puddles or letting the ground dry out (waiting to long between watering) My third picture the ground was hard as a rock so I had to remove about 7 inches of clay, then I added 5 inches of a compost mix soil then 2 more inches of a sandy lawn mix soil. I am so impressed with Groundworks Seed and how fast it grows, ONLY 7 days!! as they say proof is in the pudding, my pictures are the proof.
