Good for the price
I used this to start a new lawn and overall I’m pleased with the product. Grows well in sun and shade. Only complaints I have on this is there were several seed husk in the bag that had no seed in them. Not a huge deal but I did a couple handful inspections of the seed and seen 4 or 5 per handful. I put it down at 6lbs per 1000 sq/ft. This should have been a decent amount but as it all came up I ended up getting one more bag and overseeing it again and got up to about the 9 lbs per 1000 sq/ft mark to get what seemed to be adequate grass coverage. The picture i added is after the extra bag was seeded and came up.

Now you pay for 50% coating!
I have used this brand before and liked the results, but it was 100% a mix of seeds. Now the label says 50% is coating. I bought this brand before because unlike Scotts and many others it was uncoated. Price went up, but you now get 50% less seed for the money
Too bad, won't be buying it any more.
