With its extra-large hopper capacity, this corn feeder allows you to supplement their natural forage diet, while enjoying less frequent refills. Using a 12V battery and digital timer, this deer feeder also allows you to easily set custom feeding intervals anywhere from 1-6 times per day. A solar panel on top of the feeder keeps the battery charged; no plugs or replacement batteries needed. Other great features of this corn feeder include the varmint-proof spinner plate that deters pests, an easy-access hinged lid and a viewing window that lets you keep an eye on the remaining corn levels. Simply stake the corn feeder to the ground, fill the hopper and set your preferred feeding times to get started.

Great bang for your buck.

I own 5 of these 600lb feeders, as well as two of the timed protein feeders that I have bought over the course of 3 years. They all work great I have no worries on if they are throwing corn or not, the batteries are always charged and the corn stays dry, the only issue I have had with them is the timers it comes with last about a little over a year, replace them with another $30 timer and no more issues since. I'm buying 3 more of these this year.

Had a similar issue as other reviews, spinner plate would bind up, dropped it a little and it works great, quick and easy fix, and responsive customer service. Getting another one as gift for my brother.

Motor burned out about a week after setup. I bought and replaced the motor, about 2 weeks later, same thing. It appears that the spinner plate binds on the kernels of corn for no apparent reason. Trying to find compatible external motor/spinner to replace the manufacturers internal system.
