Try a different comp. Buckets OVERHEAT the water.

Keeps the ice off great....but heats the bucket up to 75 F. It actually ferments the debris, grass from the horse , etc. Have to change out the water ever other day in the winter due to algae/fermenting. Called the company, warrantied one, and I bought another from them for $35. All 3 work the same....overheats the bucket and WASTE ENERGY = HIGHER POWER BILLS. The company says they work correctly....they do not! When it is 0 degrees F.....water should not be 70+. Nice customer service folks...but faulty product. If it works as designed......NO Good for Montana winters.

This is the third heated tub that I have bought in the last 25 or so years. They work very well, heating the water just enough to make it palatable to my horses.
