Featuring a floating stack impeller design for sand resistance and reduced sand locking, this heavy-duty stainless steel submersible well pump is built to last. The 1/2 hp electric well pump is rated for 115V for residential and agricultural water applications. Designed with a 2-wire configuration, this submersible pump offers a practical setup for compatible well systems. The stainless steel body provides heavy-duty construction for dependable use. Measuring 4-3/4 in. x 4-3/4 in. x 34 in., this 4 in. submersible well pump weighs 29 lb. The pump is CSA approved for added assurance. - A: Yes, a 4-inch 2-wire submersible well pump like the CountyLine 1/2 HP 115V can technically be operated horizontally, but only if it is installed inside a flow-inducer sleeve (cooling shroud) and completely submerged. Without forced water flow over the entire length of the motor, a horizontal orientation will cause the motor to overheat and fail, which also voids the manufacturer warranty2 months agoHelpful?

Pump rusted after 48 hours of soaking it in water
2 years ago
Soaked the pump in water over night already showed signs of rust in several places, soaked it another 24 hours and it got worse. Returned pump and exchanged it for another one and soaked this one for two days also showed signs of rust. Purchased a different pump from water well shop soaked that one and it did not show any signs of rust.
No, I do not recommend this product.
