Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Bad then Good Purchased unit from Salisbury store and it had been installed previously and motor was damaged. Likely 220 volts put on 120 volt motor. Pulled pump went to Morresville store got a new unit, installed working great. I wish the returned unit at Salisbury had been certified good before being sold to me. Tough job replacing deep well pump twice in one day. Should be a program to test returns at every store. Thanks David Barbee

Is a replacement motor available for this pump?   Mine is locked up

Asked by: Ben1982
No we do not offer a replacement motor only. If the unit is still under warranty (which now is 3 years from the purchase date) it can be returned to the store for a replacement. If the pump has been pulled from the well and cleaned well of all sand and lime and still remains locked up it will need to be replaced. You can also call customer service at 1-800-535-4950 for additional technical support

I purchased the 115V it has ground and two black wires. How do I know which is hot and neutral? Also what pressure am I going to get?, My pump is only 10' deep. and pumping to pressure tank. Thanks, Chip

Asked by: Haychip
For 115 volt service your incoming power wires can be attached to either of the two black wire leads from the motor, it does not matter which. Your output pressure is a function of resistance and most likely will be controlled by a pressure switch that has a factory set turn on/off range.

Pump has 3 wires.  Two black "hot" and green ground.   If the two hits are reversed will the pump run backwards? We installed it and flow is much less than 10gpm....water lift is less than 10ft and free flowing..... Should we reverse the black wires?

Asked by: James Texas
This unit can only run one direction changing wires around will not make any difference, on the type of inverter I have no knowledge the unit at start-up will use 1466.25 watts at running it will use 977.5 watts.
