Q: How long can you go with the 1 1/2 out pipe before you should reduce it to 1 inch pipe?
a year ago1 Answer
- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "The answer could vary depending on the required flow (GPM) and pressure (PSI) desired at the end of the pipe. To find this answer you would have to calculate both static pressure (elevation) and dynamic pressure (friction loss) within the system and refer to the pumps performance to understand how much flow the pump will produce at this pressure. It is always recommended to consult with a licensed plumber to properly size the system when in doubt."a year agoHelpful?

Depending on discharge pressure and distance of pump above water the GPM will vary – on an average I would say 35 gpm. More pressure, high distance – the performance will go down.3 years agoHelpful?

At 20' of lift the pump will produce 53gpm at 10psi and 13gpm at 40psi. Hope this helps. Please call customer service if you have other questions. 877-326-35617 years agoHelpful?

It works!
Great pump for the price, fast shipping and easy pick up at the store. I have been having issues getting the pumps I typically use for irrigation systems in a timely manner. I have used 2 of this brand within the last year and they are working terrific. We will see how they do on longevity...
