Excellent seed

We are completely satisfied with the performance of this blend of seed. Easy planting sun or shade. Planted early October and two weeks or sooner young blades of grass emerge.

This is high quality seed. I'm sure it's just me, but would have been nice to check the analysis on the product webpage. I usually stay away from Tall Fescue, even the newer varieties. Would have been nice to know it was in the mix before ordering. Good product otherwise and fast service.

This product is different in 2025

This seed mix in this product has been changed by the manufacturer and its product SKU was never changed. Tractor Supply claims it is the same product. It is not the same as what is advertised on the website. The current product's mix now contains significantly more rye seed and significantly less fescue seed. The price aligns with the mixture of the former product. The price is too high for the current mixture.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Grass germinated quickly and started to see growth after about a week. Watered morning and evening when it was dry and it has filled in nicely.
