DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX 16 in. Brushless Cordless String Trimmer (Tool Only)

This chainsaw is great. I almost got the 20v 12", but very glad I upgraded here to the 60v. The power that this thing has, I mean it just cuts through logs like butter. Very happy I got this chainsaw!

Solid tool, has plenty of power and is just what i need for all my lawn pruning and jobsite needs. Its helped me out a lot while framing and doing yardwork. A very versatile tool that i recommend to anyone looking for a small to mid range chain saw.

I got this for my birthday 4 years ago. I have done many disaster relief jobs around Austin and this saw always starts, runs , and cuts as fast as most of the gas powered saws. I got 2 extra batteries and an extra chain on sale. The saw will run longer than I can endure. I never buy gas!

I have used and depended on dewalt tools to provide for my family as an electrician for 33 years and rarely have complaints regarding quality but this chainsaw is one rare time that I have not been satisfied at all. After about a year of very little use, the chain began to jump off of the bar, which initially I chalked up as user error. This thought quickly vanished when it became a more frequent and would occur at least once everytime I would use it. With the regularity it was happening, I began to do some investigating as to what the issue could be. It only took a quick Google search to see there was a great number of negative reviews and complaints filling the online community and forums. Evidently there seems to be a large percentage of people who have experienced the same issues and believe there to be a major design flaw with the sprocket. The sprocket is held on by a washer that does not seem to seat tightly against the sprocket and the chain gets caught in the space between. The more it happens, the more it wears and quickly exasperated the problem. There needs to be a recall amd fix for this issue. There are a couple you tube videos for diy fixes but for the price of the saw and it carrying the dewalt name a diy fix is unacceptable. Until the problem is acknowledged and rectified, long time dealt customers, like myself, will increasingly become disinheartened and less loyal.
