This handy trimmer/edger features a state of charge indicator that displays how much power you have left at all times. The trimmer speeds up your work by feeding trimmer line without bumping and quickly converting from trimmer to edger. High-performance 40V MAX* Lithium Ion battery with state of charge indicator shows you how much power you have left at all times. POWER DRIVE high-torque transmission gives you cutting power at the string, for clean, fast cuts. The AUTOMATIC FEED SPOOL - AFS automatically feeds trimmer line as needed, with no bumping to interrupt your work. *Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 40V. Nominal voltage is 36.

  • High-performance 40V MAX lithium ion battery with state of charge indicator shows you how much power you have left at all times
  • Power drive high-torque transmission gives you cutting power at the string, for clean, fast cuts
  • Convenient and versatile trimmer converts from trimmer to edger in seconds

Great for the average (height) person.

These would be great little trimmers if only....little is the problem If (like me) you are over 6' tall, the position you have to get into to get the angles right is really hard on your back. Any tall users figure out a good solution? I would buy a longer one, but I have a shelf full of B&D batteries. Also... I have not been able to get the line feed to work properly.. This is my second purchase of this tool.. Same problems with both of them.

This is an excellent cordless string trimmer and offers a good-length run on a single battery charge. A good feature is that you can select more power if needed, with a slightly shorter battery run. This trimmer uses AF-100 string spools which are widely available and low-cost.
