I’ve gone through 2 of these within 4 years. Like the tool for its power but not built durably. Use it on 1/2 acre lot and both times it cracked right at the trigger. Warranty covered the first one but now I’m out of luck. Have a bunch of their products and love the idea of battery sharing but can’t recommend this product.

Hello there! The WG183 is backed by a 5-year limited warranty when you have a valid proof of purchase or the product was registered within 30 days of purchase. The warranty is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and it does not automatically preclude multiple replacements if a warrantable defect occurs again during the coverage period.

Great machines

My new WG 183 trimmer is one high torque grass cutter, and I've observed a few online tips for edging and things like that. It is very light and easy to handle, and it makes short work of grass that is five or six inches high and I'm sure it can handle more.

Not effective edging or cutting tall grass and weeds. SPOOL wears out quickly. Stalls out constantly. Does not make a quick clean cut. Takes 3-4 times longer to cut the same area as my Sthil weedeater. NOT a solution for commercial or farm work. To slow.

The WG183 is designed as a residential-use tool intended for routine homeowner lawn maintenance, including trimming grass, maintaining lawn edges, and managing light to moderate weed growth around the home. It is not designed or marketed as a commercial-grade trimmer for professional landscaping, large acreage maintenance, farm use, or prolonged heavy-duty vegetation clearing.
Applications involving dense overgrowth, thick brush, woody vegetation, large properties, or extended continuous use may exceed the intended use of the product and can affect overall performance, cutting efficiency, and line consumption. For these types of demanding conditions, a higher-powered or professional-grade solution may be more appropriate.
When used for edging, line wear can increase, particularly when the cutting line comes into contact with hard surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and fencing. Thick weeds and tall grass may also require multiple passes to achieve the desired results. Operating conditions, vegetation type, and user technique can all impact cutting performance and spool longevity.

this trimmer is BAD for the price .. i have 2 other WORK trimmers that are good.. SPOOL CONSTANTLY GETS STUCK. I SPEND MORE TOME TAKING APART TO FREE NYLON THAN WORKING. LOUSY TRIMMER
