I bought this 6 months ago and have had problems with it since day one. The string trimmer has finally quit working altogether and when it was working it would only last about 10 minutes before requiring a recharge. I was told to take it to a repair shop 90 miles away, I’m a disabled veteran and have difficulty getting around and I live on a very tight budget so a 90 mile road trip is out of the question. Do not buy this junk stick with makita or Milwaukee because dewalt will take your money and turn their back on you.

Every power tool I own is Dewalt. Not a fan of battery operated lawn equipment, but I figured since it’s a dewalt it’s gotta be good. The Weedwhacker lasted 15 minutes and died. I was very sad.

The blower works ok but kills batteries fast. The trimmer is horrible. No power, and the spool comes apart every time I try to use it. I’ve had dewalt dealers look at it and supposedly a sales rep and nobody can make it stay in.

Bought this as part of an online sale. The weedeater itself runs like a dream, but the blower? Underpowered and ran out a 6ah battery in 5 minutes, and the battery was too hot to touch afterward. The weather was a mild 70. I have serious concerns about a battery fire - especially as the weather gets warmer.
