The batteries that come with it are junk and die within 20 minutes. And the charger is a joke for how long it takes to charge the batteries.

need to redo charges 2 x everytime to get them to actually charger. cheaper because of crappy charging system altho they will charge once u figure that out randomly after leaving it charge for 15 hrs then wonder why never charged

The drill/driver combo is a great option instead of the Big Box store brands. Porter Cable makes great tools and I use them often. The impact driver has plenty of torque to break difficult bolts free and drive construction screws through dimensional lumber. It has been invaluable in fencing projects with treated wood where other brands have been too weak. This is a great set of quality tools! I bought this as a gift since I have owned this set for many years now and have used the tools exhaustively with no issues.
