The fruit is large and the texture is similar to a crisp watermelon or Asian Pear. This tasty apple is predominantly red over a yellow background. 'Honeycrisp' is quickly becoming a new American favorite. It also has a good shelf life and can easily be stored for three to four months in the refrigerator.
