Q: Will the trailer hook up to a exmart mower

1 Answer
  • A: Yes, the trailer will physically connect. The CountyLine 25-Gallon Tow-Behind Sprayer uses a universal pin-style hitch that easily slips into the standard tow-hole found on most zero-turn and riding mowers, including Exmark. However, you must carefully monitor the weight capacity of your specific mower model. A full 25-gallon sprayer weighs around 240-260 pounds when filled to the brim. While pulling this weight on flat, dry grass is fine for most medium-to-large Exmark machines, you should verify that your specific mower’s transmission can handle the load. Attempting to pull this much weight up steep inclines or across soft, wet turf can quickly burn out the hydro-gear pumps. Additionally, you will need to rig a way to wire the 12-volt pump's alligator clips to the mower's battery or find a way to power it

Q: The boom doesn’t shut off when you turn the spot sprayer on. Also the pressure won’t adjust when it is spraying.

1 Answer
  • A: The valve with the lever is what turns the boom on and off. Need to make sure the customer has the correct hose hooked to the valve for the boom to turn off. Make sure all hose clamps are tightened. Once pump is turned on, and you have the boom on, turn the knob on the regulator to adjust the pressure to 30 PSI for spraying. The regulators are typically in full or partial bypass from the factory. The customer will need to turn the knob clockwise to lessen the amount of return to tank which will send more material to the boom. I recommend spraying around 30PSI.

Great unit, poor packaging.

My sprayer was delivered in an open box. Inventory of parts appeared that everything was there. When I got it home and started assembling it I found that the hardware package was not the correct hardware, nuts/bolts were different threads, bolts were way too long and wrong diameter etc. Fortunately I had enough spare hardware to assemble it. Once assembled it works very well. I am very happy with it's spray pattern and ease of use. I have sprayed a couple of acres with it I would guess it sprays about 15 gallons per acre when towed behind my zero turn.

Poor quality!!

I purchased this sprayer last summer and at first it was great. When I assembled it the switch was broken but I called the company and they shipped me a replacement. I've only used my sprayer a few times but so far one of the clips has already broken that hold on the spray nozzle and I noticed that the plug leaks. My mom bought one last fall because she liked mine so much. When we assembled hers, one tire was flat so we had to fix that but it still goes flat and we have to pump it up each time we use it. The cotter pins for the wheels were too short so we bought new ones. One of the clips that hold on the spray nozzle broke on hers too. This spring when we got it out to use it the spray nozzle didn't work so we had to replace it and after a couple uses, the pump quit working and we had to buy a new one. We called the company and they said it was a Tractor Supply problem and Tractor Supply said that they couldn't do anything even though the sprayer wasn't even a year old yet. Also the bolts that hold the sprayer tank to the frame came loose and fell off and we had to replace those. This sprayer is the perfect size for what we were needing but it is very poor quality. I think we have spent more money on fixing this sprayer than we initially paid for it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good sprayer with an unstable frame/axle design

Bought this sprayer for food plots. The sprayer itself works fine, but, as designed, the length of the axle/wheel width is too narrow, making it very top heavy and prone to capsizing. . Used it on a relatively flat 3/4 acre food plot, but it flipped twice and bent the angled steel holding the spray nozzles. I'm going to replace the angled steel piece with heavier duty angle. The diameter of the tires is, in my opinion, too small, which causes the front of the trailer frame to angle up quite a bit, even when towed by a medium-size ATV, which prevents me from filling the tank completely. I like the sprayer unit enough that I'm going to mount a wider axle and taller tires so it's more stable. I'm also using a County Line 12V spreader tail that plugs into a cigarette lighter-type outlet in lieu of the jumper cable type spring clamps. As is often the case, sometimes we have to innovate and modify our equipment to meet our needs.

No, I do not recommend this product.
