The Carry-On Trailer U-Bolt Axle Mount Kits have the right pieces to get the job done. Each axle mount kit includes two 3/8-16 round shoulder U-bolts, four 3/8 in. flat washers, and four nylock nuts. The U-bolt axle mount kits fit most 2,000 lb. 1-7/8 in. round tube axles. The pieces in the axle mount kits are made from zinc for long-lasting durability.

U Bolts are 4 1/2 inches and are too short

The u bolts are only 4 1/2 inches long and you can't get a full nut on the bolts to tighten them. They need to be 1 inch longer. If you put an included washer on you cannot start the nut. They are also pretty weak because I tried to get a full nut on them and the U bolt broke.They need to be 5 1/2 inches lont to work properly

Too short

Bolts should be an inch longer. They almost didn't fit. Longer bolts would make it easier to get it started on axle and leaf spring.
