Q: With the arch on the axle pointing up, the welded on bracket that sets on the leaf spring is on the bottom of the axle, which means the axle has to sit on top of the leaf spring. Thats not going to work. Is there a solution for this?

Just what I need I thank it is a good axle I build trailers. And in need of a axle for a 5 ft trailer fast this one worked good for my need. It is a dexter axle all was had good luck out of dexter axles

Track width is stated to be 58" the one I got was 58 3/8" I checked one at another store it was 58 1/2". The holes in the mounting brackets on the axle would not match up with the pins in the springs that keep the axle from moving on the springs. The track on the damaged axle that was under the trailer was 58" center to center. Measure the track on your trailer before buying this axle.

BAD Info, Good Axle

The axle seems fine except for a dented grease cap. My problem is that the axle is 2 3/8" diameter and not 3" like I specifically asked in the Q&A. I can use this 2 3/8" diameter axle but I bought saddles and a U bolt kit based on 3" diameter that product support said it was. Now I have to return those parts and order new and its going to delay my project. Hopefully Tractor supply will take care of me in some fashion and I can report how awesome their customer support is in my upcoming YouTube video on Projects with Paul. I will follow up. Thanks
