Protect your fencing with the American Farm Works 5/8 in. x 8 ft. Galvanized Ground Rod. The galvanized steel construction provides ample conductivity to guide excess electricity through the ground rod away from your energizer. The tapered end helps you easily drive the fence rod into the ground during installation.

  • Fence rod properly grounds fence chargers and will get deep down into the earth
  • Long length and galvanized steel construction provide increased conductivity
  • Tapered end makes installation easy
  • May need to use a post-driver or water the earth to install the ground rod if the ground is too dry
  • Recommended that you have three ground rods spaced 10 ft. apart and least 6 ft. deep, to provide an adequate grounding system
  • 8 ft. electric fence rod weight is 6.125 lb.
  • Dimensions of the ground rod is 5/8 in. x 8 ft.
