Q: If I do not bury the wire under the ground will it still work? I know this would make the other side of the fence not work until I hooked it back up.

1 Answer
  • A: Yes, this installation does require a buried wire.

Q: Is there a way to install it without burying the wire?

1 Answer
  • A: We recommend running an insulated wire underneath the gate so that the power is continued to the other side. If no insulated wire is used and the gate handle is lifted up, the power to the other half of the fence would turn off.
