It works, but it's really expensive for what it is, and it broke after only two uses. The bolts holding the long handle to the hose broke through the plastic end piece, and the hose split right where it connects into the bell hosing which connects to the vacuum. For how expensive it is, I would expect it to last much longer. There isn't another option though, so you don't have much choice and they don't have much incentive to improve it. Update: the hose broke twice more during the third use--once right at the end behind the nozzle, then right in the middle of the hose. The rubbery plastic used for the hose is not durable at all.

At the same time I purchased the Agri-Fab Chip-N-Vac I purchased this accessory; 5-in Hose Attachment with hand nozzle. It is a must have because it enhances the Chip-N-Vac's overall utility for your lawn projects, leaf collection. See my review on the Chip-N-Vac. I keep a battery op ratchet gun with the appropriate sockets in my mower tool carrier to quickly change out the 6" mower deck hose to the 5" hose very easily (sockets: 1/2" for the impeller connection and 7/16" for the hose clamps). Why do I have the hand hose? Because I wanted something to get in the corners where leaves blow and collect (as well as around bushes, etc.) so I do one circuit of all the bushes and edge/corner areas with the 5" hand hose. Sometimes the hose cannot reach (outside of the 12 foot hose range) so I do some raking out to reach the hose. Then I will go back replace the 5" with the deck mounted 6" and ride through the open areas to get the rest. I read some complaints about the hoses coming off and learned that you need to make the hose clamps a smidge tighter without stripping the clamp. Because they are a high-tension item I purchased backups so that my down time is minimized. Doing so I never have the hoses detach and have solution should the clamp break. Working this kind of equipment is not a "fire and forget" because you periodically have to keep an eye on things to ensure they are connected and tight. The hoses, clamps are robust, the clear color allows you to see where the clog could be if it happens. Clog cleaning has not been a chore, pretty easy just be patient. Works well wet or dry leaves. If you have a modified stone driveway where leaves collect the suction is really good so do not hover too low due to picking up stones. I hover low enough to get the leaves (wet or dry) and they come up without the stones. You will be happy you made the extra purchase of this attachment. Highly recommended, labor saving.

Haven't been able to use.

The box did not contain the pipe clamps, mounting hardware or connecting hardware. The device is useless without the mounting hardware. I have to go to a local hardware store to purchase the hardware before I can use the product.
