A: Hi Neighbor! The degree symbol will change from white to orange after 250 hours of operation. This means it is time to clean or change your filter. Once you clean or change your filter, hold down the filter button for 5 seconds until it beeps and the degree symbol turns from orange back to white.

Not as quiet as I had hoped

It’s still a window unit. It still makes noise. And because the air goes up, it doesn’t seem to cool as quickly. It sure was easy to install and it is good looking.

Temperatures and Mode keep changing on its own with the loud beep.

Temperature and mode changes on its own, no matter what I try, I cannot put my desired temperature, and it beeps really loud when it changes its temps or mode and disturbs my sleep.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this 2 years ago. We only use it on the very hottest days, maybe 10 days in July and August. It stopped cooling. The fan works fine, but the air is hot. I following the instructions for re-setting and it did "reset" but the air is still hot. Would not recommend.

Best A/C Unit Ever Made

We sent back a cheaper China-made model to a box store that sold it. It simply didn't work and seemed quite flimsy. We read about Windmill being stationed in the Big Apple, was impressed by what we read, paid more, and are so thoroughly satisfied, we would recommend this unit to everyone!
