This unit has 2 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer to create a cooling schedule. 2-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Other features include a remote control, easy window installation kit, removable, washable filter and a check filter alert.

Q: Does unit model LW6024RY have a drain port? There are some areas on the bottom of the unit that appear like a plug but nothing in manual about these or how to remove.
11 months ago- A: Hi there. The LG window A/C unit LW6024RY does have a drain area, but it’s not always labeled clearly in the manual. The small rubber plug at the bottom rear is part of the unit’s design to manage condensation. During everyday use, the A/C holds a small amount of water in the base pan to help cool the condenser coils. This plug is typically left in place unless you must drain the unit for storage or if excess water builds up. Ensure the unit is slightly tilted toward the outside to allow proper drainage.
