It is designed for supplies from 200V to 240V and the owner's manual instructs to plug it into a standard 240 V, 3-wire grounding receptacle rated 20 A / 240 VAC / 60 Hz, protected by a 0 A, time delay fuse or 20 A, circuit breaker. Most motors in the last twenty years are made to run at either 240V or 208V. Also, a 230V motor on a 208V system where the actual voltage is around 215V is within the operating range. Great air-conditioned

I love the air-condition it works really well, it keeps my house so cold. I just love the way it rotates the air in the room. It's the best air-conditioner I've had in a long time.
