WOW...1 whole year of longevity.

I got a whole year out of mine. I live in normal area and in normal household conditions and uses. No unusual weather or geography. Just gave up after a whole year. In all fairness, so have other cheap mass produced brands over the years. So I'm off to pay-up for a new brand. Maybe look for a brand that is recognizable from the good ole days.

Great $, cools great but noisiest window unit ever! The user guide even details each noise with a description and says it is normal. Not received power bill yet for efficiency comparison.
