Hog trap

I have 4 of these thaps and they work fine. What I do is use a stick to prop the door open about 10 inches. I have caught as many as 7 pigs at a time and 3 ohe time that was over 250 pounds a piece. People say once you catch and kill hogs in a trap you cant catch any more in that spot this is not true it may take a couple of days before you catch anymore thats all. I have caught as many as 28 in the same trap in the same spot.

Awesome

I have been using my trap for a few years. I have caught over a hundred pigs with it. I like that I never catch deer with it but that might be due to tricks I have worked out. There are a few things I have found that help. One I use a cell camera and leave baited. Allows me to know when bait is gone or when pigs are in it. Two I never fully open the doors of the trap. I use a little twig to prop open one door about 12”. After the first pig goes in the rest will keep pushing the door up so they can squeeze in. Lastly I dump a bag of corn inside it with a small trail through the door to outside for them to follow in.
